Local Attractions

"Edinburgh is a city of beauty and culture, and there is much to see and do in and around the city. Explore the Medieval Old Town and the Georgian New Town, visit the many Art Galleries and Museums, The Castle and Holyrood Palace. Near the Palace you can now marvel at the new attraction "Our Dynamic Earth",  then climb to the top of Arthur's Seat for the spectacular views of the City and the surrounding counties. Feed the squirrels at the world famous Botanical Gardens; visit the Royal Yacht Britannia - see how the Queen lived as she sailed around the world. Wander down the Royal Mile, then rest your weary feet in one of the many cafes or pubs!

Children of all ages love to visit the Butterfly Farm, Bird of Prey Centre and Deep Sea World,  or go to the Zoo.  The Bird of Prey Centre is only 1 mile from Eskbank.
